Characteristics of the product include fiber reinforced adhesive tape (RI) on rolls with double plastic release liner for pre-assembly. Applications of the product include that it can be used in combination with joint casings of pre-insulated pipes, it can be used in the primary, durable sealing of non-welded shrinkable joint casing systems, and also it can be used in the additional, durable sealing of welded shrinkable joint casing systems. Qualification of the product include functionality and resistance – tested and certified in accordance with EN 489, and heat ageing resistance – tested internally and passes ISO 218093 fully compliant.
