Speed Dowel® reduces slip dowel installation costs by 50% and ensures proper dowel alignment in construction joints. Speed Dowel is a patented two-component system, comprised of a round or square dowel sleeve and corresponding base. The base and sleeve attach to the edge form prior to concrete placement. Concrete is then placed and consolidated around the Speed Dowel using normal practices. The form and base are stripped leaving the embedded sleeve properly aligned and ready to received dowel rods or bars.
